Have a System21 application in need of integration and modernization? If so, looksoftware is looking for you. The Australian provider of .NET-based middleware solutions for iSeries servers launched a new solution designed to generate new interfaces and connect other applications with the popular Geac (soon to be Infor) ERP application.
Specifically, looksoftware is touting its capability to generate Web, Windows, and mobile clients for System21 applications, without making any changes to the core ERP system. Integration with desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as CRM applications, is another highlight of the new offering, which the company is grouping together in a bundle it calls "looksolutions for Geac System21."
The Melbourne software house has recruited its partner, Left Lane Consulting, to serve the 1,000-plus worldwide System21 user base. "System21 users run complex businesses supported by a robust, customized ERP [and] the most common business problem is integration," says Graham Henderson, a director with Left Lane that has more than 15 years of System21 experience. "Looksoftware's non-intrusive technology supports any modifications made by System21 customers and requires no change to System21 code."
