iSeries software developer LANSA has received an IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Award for its Data Sync Direct software, a product that runs on OS/400 and other platforms, and which allows manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to link product data between their systems and a certified data pool within the Global Data Synchronization Network (formerly UCCnet).
"Out of IBM's thousands of worldwide business partners, LANSA was selected as one of only a few to receive this coveted award for LANSA Data Sync Direct," says John Siniscal, president of the Chicago-area company. "This is a great recognition from IBM that LANSA is a valued partner and that our data synchronization solution is an outstanding product"
Data Sync Direct took home the top prize in the "Best Industry Optimized Solution" category, where it beat out Tacton's Configurator, a multi-platform solution designed to make it easy to sell complex or customized products over the Internet, and 5AM Solutions's Microarray Enterprise Manager, an information management and workflow solution for companies in the life sciences industry.
