Infor last week launched a new Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) application designed to improve the profitability of manufacturers, distributors, and companies in other industries by serving as a clearinghouse of supply chain-related data, and fostering better collaboration among decision makers in a supply chain. nuBridges Unveils TaaS, a Hosted Data Tokenization Service

nuBridges last week unveiled a new hosted version of its software that uses tokenization to protect sensitive data. The new offering, which is called nuBridges Protect Tokenization as a Service (TaaS), is being delivered with nuBridges' new business partner, Verizon Business. IBM Delivers Super Fast IPS

IBM last week unveiled a new security appliance designed to thwart attempts to compromise networks, computers, and applications. Called the Security Network Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) GX7800, the key differentiator of the device is its purported capability to isolate threats at network speeds up to 20 gigabits per second, which IBM claims is almost twice as fast as competing IPSes.
