Mycom Group and SkyView Partners unveiled a partnership last week that will see Mycom market and resell SkyView's security assessment software for OS/400 servers.
Mycom is a Cincinnati, Ohio, company that sells software and professional services, including services to manage customers' software licenses to assure they receive attractive pricing and are compliant on their license usage. The company is publicly traded on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board, and had sales of more than $5 million in 2005.
As part of the deal, Mycom will begin reselling two SkyView products, including Risk Assessor, which was its first product unveiled in 2003, and Policy Minder, which SkyView introduced last October. Mycom will sell the software throughout North America.
Mycom CEO, Rob Bransom, said he's pleased to move into a new technology market. "With Risk Assessor we give our customers a product to allow them to see how their system stacks up versus security best practices. With SkyView's new Policy Minder our customers can manage and fix their security configuration automatically without spending hours on that task."
