Smart i Mobile and DB2 Panel at COMMON
· Smart i Mobile at Key Info booth 501
· New Panel on DB2 Web Query
Smart i Mobile Debuts at Key Info booth 501
Smart i Mobile is being introduced at the 2009 COMMON Conference & Expo by Key Information Systems at booth 501.
Smart i mobile enables users to receive data from the Smart i BI platform and will run on a Blackberry, iPhone or any handheld mobile device.
Smart i Mobile provides an executive dashboard on mobile devices that will initially run on the Android platform. Android brings Internet-style innovation and openness to mobile phones and was designed by the Google and the Open Handset Alliance and allows developers to write managed code in the Java language, controlling the device via Java compatible code running on a virtual machine especially designed for mobile devices. See: www.android.com and www.openhandsetalliance.com.
Smart i Mobile was designed in collaboration between Key Information Systems, Systech Solutions and Intelligent Applications Hatchery LLC. It allows users to view a graphical representation of critical data generated by Smart i Appliance, an IBM i based data warehousing implementation.
Smart i Mobile graphs will directly link to the numerous Smart i reports generated by IBM DB2 Web Query. Data is automatically refreshed each time the information in Smart i data warehousing reports is updated. Clickable graphs allow users to navigate through the data behind the graphs.
