Tango/04 Opens U.S. Office in Peterborough, New Hampshire

Published: May 29, 2007

Tango/04 Computing Group, the Spanish developer of systems management software for System i and other platforms, yesterday announced it has opened its new U.S. office in Peterborough, New Hampshire. The company has high hopes that the move will further boost its fortunes in North America.

Tango/04 first opened an office in Peterborough in late 2005 when its partnership with i5/OS change management software vendor SoftLanding Systems ended. According to the company, 2006 was a turning point for Tango/04, and the goings-on in Peterborough had a lot to do with it.

The company laid several milestones last year, including passing the 1,000-customer mark for its flagship VISUAL Message Center product, growing company revenues by 88 percent, and boosting profits from its U.S. operations by 45 percent. By the end of 2006, Tango/04 had outgrown its old office and was looking to find bigger and better digs with which to lay down roots into American soil.

"We are very excited about our successful achievements during 2006," said Raúl Cristián Aguirre, CEO and president of Tango/04. "When we opened our own office in the U.S. our goal was to offer a better service to our already existing U.S. customers and to be able to establish a direct presence in a market with great opportunities for our unique, real-time monitoring solutions. The results we obtained surpassed all our expectations."
