Wynne Systems, a developer of OS/400-based ERP solutions for the equipment rental industry, has signed a partnership with Lakeview Technology to provide business continuity solutions to its customers. According to last week's announcement, the partnership will enable RentalMan users to safeguard important applications and databases on their backup System i5 server.
Irvine, California-based Wynne Systems chose to partner with Lakeview as a result of its experience on the OS/400 platform, says said Mike Stilwagner, a vice president with Wynne. "Lakeview's commitment to information availability and their 15 years of trusted experience made partnering with them an easy decision. This new integration will enhance Wynne's ability to protect client data and recover from unexpected outages," he says.
Steve DiLiberto, Lakeview's vice president of business development and strategic alliances, hailed the partnership with Wynne Systems. "RentalMan is a well-known software application within the construction equipment business, and users rely heavily on it. Having the peace of mind knowing data and information is always accessible is immeasurable," he says.
Details of the partnership were not disclosed.
