i OS Products on Display in Upcoming Vendor Webcasts

Interested in learning some new techniques for improving your System i data processing? Curious about how different products can make your job easier? If so then you should check out some of the free Webcasts that System i ISVs are hosting this week, as tracked by our sister publication, Four Hundred Monitor.

This week features a bountiful crop of Webcasts, Webinars, and assorted online get-togethers from independent software vendors. It kicks off today with a Webinar at noon EDT from Quadrant Software on the topic of paperless purchase-to-pay processes. Developers interested in learning how ProData Computer Services' new RDB CONNECT software can be used to open up communication between System i programs and remote databases should check out the Webcast "Know more. A Webinar on BCD Software's new Clover Query offering will be held on July 24 at 12:30 p.m. EDT. The event will feature a high-level overview of Clover's features, and show users how they can use the BCD product to create System i reports and queries in real time. Administrators are the targets of a Webinar on real-time monitoring of i OS systems by PowerTech on July 24. The security software vendor will discuss topics such as gathering network information that detects inappropriate or anomalous activity, identifying possible security breaches, integration with SIM and IDS consoles, and complying with SOX, HIPAA, PCI, and other regulatory guidelines.
