Quadrant Software this month will ship Formtastic Fusion5 version 5.3.3, the latest release of the company's electronic forms system for iSeries environments. The new release features better integration with IntelliChief, the company's new document and content management system for mid-to-large size enterprises, as well as PDF, RFID, check, and tax-related enhancements.
By developing new APIs to integrate Formtastic with IntelliChief, Quadrant is enabling customers to use IntelliChief to archive electronic forms created with Formtastic. Similarly, Formtastic's signature capture module can now share data with IntelliChief.
PDF creation has also been bolstered with Formtastic version 5.3.3. New error reporting, tracking, and recovery capabilities help users locate and fix potential errors when creating a PDF file with Formtastic, the company says.
This release also brings support for Intermec's GEN2 radio frequency identification (RFID) labels, and the capability to insert images in the RFID labels.
Formtastic version 5.3.3 brings support for Canadian checks in ChecksPack, a collection of pre-designed check templates that comply with the Canadian Payments Association's new specifications. Quadrant is also providing Formtastic customers with pre-designed W2 and 1099 tax forms through the new Tax FormsPack.
Quadrant has experience extracting and mapping its electronic forms solution to the spooled file output of most of the major OS/400-based ERP systems, including J.D. Edwards, MAPICS, BPCS, PRMS, Infinium, and Lawson. The software starts at $8,400.
