Lakeview and Innovatum Webinar to Focus on Cross-Platform Compliance

Published: August 8, 2006

Two of today's most powerful forces driving IT decision-making are regulatory compliance and data protection. At the intersection of these two forces lies the partnership between Lakeview Technology and Innovatum, which will be co-hosting a Webinar next week on developing compliance solutions in a multiplatform environment.

Ardi Batmanghelidj, president of database auditing developer Innovatum, says many OS/400 shops have data spread across many locations and many systems, including i5/OS, z/OS, AIX, Linux, and Windows. "Together with Lakeview, we have automated the process of capturing cross-platform compliance-related data, making it easy and affordable for System i users to remain compliant as well as strategically balance workloads," Batmanghelidj says.

Next Tuesday, August 15, representatives from Innovatum, Lakeview, and IBM will share tips on developing cross-platform compliance solutions. Topics covered will include: using centralization and automation to achieve ROI; using OS/400 for security and compliance; using replication software to capture cross-platform data and to centralize monitoring; and how high availability technology can assist in compliance.

The Webcast, which starts at 11:30 a.m. EDT, will include Batmanghelidj, IBM product manager Steve Finnes, and John Gay, Lakeview's services manager. Interested parties can register at www.mimix.com/events.
