Moshi Moshi Saga Continues at Bytware

Network security is the focus of the new episode of "Moshi Moshi," the animated series of short stories from Bytware that's intended to entertain viewers while educating them about i OS security. With a potential hole in his company's network perimeter, the protagonist of Moshi Moshi must act before it's too late!

Created by Bytware marketing director Chris Jones earlier this year, Moshi Moshi follows the activities of a fictitious company, Moshi Moshi Corp., and its employees activities. One of these employees is the new American systems administrator Harold Stanley, who is tasked with keeping Moshi Moshi's System i server running smoothly and securely.

In episode three, which is now airing at the Moshi Moshi Web site, Harold must shut down a security hole that's being exploited by one of Moshi Moshi's employees. He fixes the problem with (surprise!) a Bytware security offering. Following the episode, viewers are encouraged to participate in a quiz, where they can win a free license to the Bytware security product that Harold used.

Bytware also announced the winners of the second quiz. Doug Fortman, a System i administrator with Trans World Entertainment, won a year's license for Bytware Messenger. Runner's up in the contest received a Star Trek Season 1 DVD Box Set. That list includes Larry Leonhardt, a network security administrator with Park Center; Patti Walker, a senior systems analyst with Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System; Ricky Peebles, an iSeries administrator with Turner Industries Group; Lori Reed, an application systems manager with US Foodservice; and Dave Sheridan, a manager of software development and IT operations at Haemonetics.
