Business intelligence software vendor Q4bis has signed a partnership with Corning Data Services, a hardware reseller and service provider based in New York, to sell the Windows-based Q4bis product suite into J.D. Edwards accounts, the companies announced last week.
Q4bis is a suite of business intelligence products that includes a SQL Server-based multidimensional database, a Windows-based front end, and various ETL and mobile tools. While it runs in a Windows environment, the product is adept at consuming DB2/400 data via a series of templates the company has developed supporting the major OS/400 ERP systems, including J.D. Edwards, and the company has a sizable installed base of OS/400 customers.
Dave Lindeman, vice president of software sales for Corning, says Q4bis' ease of use and ease of deployment will make it a hit with its J.D. Edwards customers. "Having provided enterprise solutions for over 25 years, CDS sees this as an opportunity to allow our current customers to leverage their existing systems as well as offer new customers the unprecedented business intelligence and analytics capabilities of Q4bis," he says.
