TMW Systems, a developer of truck dispatch software for OS/400 and Windows, this month held its first annual user conference since it acquired rival Maddocks Systems. TMW also announced four new products for users of TruckMate, Maddocks flagship product.
About 450 TruckMate users made it to Savannah, Georgia, at the beginning of the month for three days of sessions and a vendor expo. At the event, TMW announced that it will bring four of its products that work with its Windows-based TMW Suite and its OS/400-based TL2000 suite to TruckMate. These include an imaging product called TMW Imaging, a mobile communications offering called D2Link, a real-time exception monitoring offering called The Dawg, and a Web-based driver portal called DriverSeat.
"These modules will give current TruckMate customers an opportunity to further leverage their existing investment in TruckMate and recognize additional value quickly," says Dave Wangler, president and CEO of TMW.
