Hackney Ladish, a Texas-based fittings manufacturer with 380,000 square feet of factory floor in Oklahoma and Arkansas, has expanded its contract with OneNeck IT Services to manage its OS/400-based BPCS ERP system, the outsourcer announced yesterday.
Hackney Ladish, formerly known as Trinity Fittings Group, already had an agreement with OneNeck to manage its BPCS infrastructure before it was bought recently by the Los Angeles-based investment firm of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. However, once the acquisition was complete, the company realized it needed new hardware and software, and it needed them in a hurry.
"OneNeck had less than 60 days to acquire and install the hardware, bringing our systems live as we moved to a new office," said Michael Bodinger, the IT director at Hackney Ladish. "OneNeck did an excellent job on the fly, establishing our new technical environment and supporting our implementation of BPCS. Our timeframes were incredibly tight and OneNeck ensured there was no downtime associated with the transition."
In addition to running and supporting its customers Infor's Baan and BPCS implementations, Arizona-based OneNeck also claims proficiency in Oracle's J.D. Edwards World and EnterpriseOne, Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta), and Khameleon Software.
