Tango/04 Computing Group's VISUAL Message Center (VMC) recently received the ServerProven certification from IBM, ensuring potential customers that the software has been proved to run on iSeries servers in the real world.
Tango/04 touts VMC as a business service management (BSM) product designed to monitor the changing states of servers, applications, and business processes, as well as to track how interdependencies among these components can affect service levels and what steps administrators should take to maintain or improve those levels.
The Spanish software house, which has an office in Peterborough, New Hampshire, recently upgraded VMC to version 7, which brought finer-grained views into individual business processes and better ways to correlate processes to provide a more realistic portrait of the current state of a users' IT environment.
Raúl Cristián Aguirre, CEO of Tango/04, says his company has worked very hard to offer operators, CIOs, and top-level managers the software tools they needed to align their IT infrastructure with their companies' business objectives. "Obtaining IBM validations such as ServerProven is proof of the successful results of our effort," he says.
