Ayers Rock Transportation Solutions Now Supports International Logistics

Ayers Rock Software, a Bainbridge Island, Washington, developer of transportation and logistics software for i5/OS, recently announced new capabilities to manage international FCL (full container loads) and LCL (less than full container loads) in LTL/400 product line.

The new support for international logistics, which was announced in September, provides all the additional documents a carrier will need for security, customs, international commerce, and FDA purposes, the company says. Ayers Rock has also implemented business rules to ensure that users don't make mistakes in the process, such as dispatching the destination drayman before the original bill of lading has been forwarded to the agent.
