VAI to Resell iSecurity Suite from Raz-Lee

i5/OS security software company Raz-Lee Security has formed a partnership with Vormittag Associates Inc. (VAI), an i5/OS ERP software developer, the companies announced last week. The deal will see VAI selling Raz-Lee's iSecurity suite.

VAI is one of a dwindling number of independent ERP developers serving the i5/OS ecosystem. The company, which is based in Ronkonkoma, New York, has sold its System 2000 suite of enterprise software products to more than 750 companies in the wholesale, manufacturing, retail, and service industries.

Now, VAI will have a full-featured suite of i5/OS security tools to sell its customers, too. The deal with Raz-Lee--an Israeli company that has its U.S. headquarters in nearby Nanuet, New York--brings VAI and its customers the option to buy iSecurity, a collection of integrated modules designed to implement tight security controls on i5/OS data and applications.

Dan Bivona, VAI's director of sales, says he's looking forward to the partnership with Raz-Lee. "The Raz-lee products along with the IBM iSeries solution will ensure that customers will be compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)," he says.
