Volume 14, Number 50 -- December 14, 2005

Happy Holidays!

It has been a long and exciting year in the IT industry and here at IT Jungle. We have loved every minute of it. And now it is time for us to wind this newsletter down for 2005, spend time with our family and friends, think about something other than the computer business for a brief few weeks, and get the rest and relaxation that will allow us to take on 2006 with all of the intelligence, wit, and insight we can muster.

To all of you--our readers in the IT community, the vendors that we follow, and the advertisers who make our very publications possible--we at IT Jungle would like to thank you for your continuing support of our publications. All of us here love what we do, and as best we can figure, you like what we do, too. (And if not, hit that Contact button up at the top of every page and let us know!) No publishing company I have ever known has had a better group of engaged readers, nor such a dedicated set of advertisers, as we have enjoyed since this company started in 2001. The three of us together--IT Jungle's team of journalists and technical editors, our readers, and our advertisers--made this happen, and we did it together. This is a three-legged stool, and all three legs are necessary for it to work.

We look ahead to a better 2006, with less strife in the world and more prosperity for everyone.

--Timothy Prickett Morgan, Editor in Chief
