More Qshell Output in ASCII
Hey, Ted:
I'm writing in reference to your article,
"Wanted:
Qshell Output in ASCII," Midrange Guru,
OS/400 Edition. Isn't the conversion issue more
properly handled by the share configuration?
In order to see the Integrated File System (IFS)
from a PC, isn't it true that a file share has to
be created in Operations Navigator? The Text
Conversion tab of the share properties provides a
way to specify which files should be automatically
converted.
This is how I handle the problem.
