Reader Feedback and Insights: Database Design Tools

Hey, Ted:

There is a product called Case Studio that provides entity relationship modeling at a fraction of the price of ERWIN.

I've used Case Studio to successfully deploy databases to iSeries and Windows NT DB2 installations by running scripts generated from the product. It also includes features to publish models in HTML and Word documents. Case Studio lite is $99. The full version, which costs $329, also includes such features as ODBC connections and reverse engineering.

I can highly recommend the product. You get a lot of functionality for the money, and upgrades are free.
