Echo2 High Availability --
Affordable, Reliable, Easy-to-Use

Reliable, state-of-the-art high availability isn't as expensive and complex as you might think. Not only does Echo2 cost about half of other solutions, it so automated and self-managing that operation of the system can be done in less than an hour a day and production-to-backup switchovers can be accomplished in minutes.

Top OS/400 Stories from Around the Web

(Guild Companies) IBM announced a bunch of iSeries deals that it hopes will prod companies to spend some money. (Guild Companies) The Extensible Markup Language (XML) spawned another variant this week. Spearheaded by EDS and its systems management software partner, Opsware, the new Data Center Markup Language (DCML) is aimed at helping data center systems to communicate better with one another and with systems management and provisioning tools.
(InformationWeek) Computer Associates reported a net loss of $87 million for the second quarter, which ended September 30. Part of the loss is blamed on the cost of settling litigation.
(ComputerWorld) Ailing supply chain management software maker i2 Technologies posted a profit for its third quarter, despite a considerable decline in revenue. And its earnings checked in at a fifth of what the company reported a year ago.
