SSA Offloads BPCS Order Entry Processing to Windows

SSA Global Technologies continued rolling out its BPCS extension strategy when it announcement the new BPCS HiVolume application two weeks ago. This application, developed in conjunction with SSA GT's South African business partner Enabling Business Technologies, is a Microsoft Windows application designed to offload the order-entry processing from OS/400 servers for fulfillment centers where a large volume of orders or poor network connections to remote hosts makes a compelling case for putting more computing intelligence on the floor. Surf's Up for Teamstudio with Screensurfer Edition 1

Yesterday Teamstudio announced the immediate availability of Teamstudio Screensurfer Edition 1, the first major update of the Web-to-host middleware for OS/400 servers and mainframes since Teamstudio purchased the Screensurfer product line from Intelligent Environments last September.
