Vendor's View: NLynx on the Road to Recovery

NLynx Systems, the AS/400 and iSeries connectivity supplier that has been in Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the past year and a half, has been reborn as NLynx Technologies. Last week the new company announced it has purchased the assets of NLynx Systems and is no longer responsible for NLynx Systems' liabilities. LANSA Going Vertical with New B2B Apps

LANSA is continuing its transformation from a vendor of high-level application development tools into a purveyor of applications, with the introduction of a new collection of bundled B2B e-commerce solutions for vertical industries. The first industry-specific application bundle to ship under LANSA's new Commerce Edition Direct label, announced in late July, is aimed at the food distribution business; additional applications for healthcare, insurance, and the government are expected to soon follow. Quadrant Improves Document Routing in Fax Software

Quadrant Software has added a new feature to its FastFax/Enterprise software that may be of interest to companies that rely on faxes to receive important business documents. With FastFax/Enterprise Version 4.4, announced last week, Quadrant is now allowing users to have inbound faxes, sent from a certain telephone number, automatically routed to their document management system, eliminating the need to have somebody manually forward the fax to the appropriate department or person.
