Mincron, a niche provider of OS/400-based ERP software for manufacturers and distributors of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning equipment, is putting the finishing touches on a new conversion tool that generates Enterprise JavaBeans from RPG source code. Mincron claims the new tool, called JENASYS, will revolutionize the market by providing unparalleled levels of automation for RPG-to-Java conversion and by being the first RPG-to-Java conversion tool to support Enterprise JavaBeans. VillageEDOCS Launches iSeries Fax Service

OS/400 shops that send a large number of faxes on a daily basis may be interested in a new iSeries fax solution announced last week by VillageEDOCS, a Tustin, California, company that has been in the electronic document management software and services business since 1995. The company's new offering, iSeriesFax, combines OS/400 fax software and outsourced fax services provided by VillageEDOCS, which says this approach eliminates the need for companies to invest in specialized fax hardware and software. New Jacada Product Delivers Green Screen in a Browser

The new OmniTerm/750t Ethernet Terminal is a low-cost text-based client designed for companies that want to combine the reliability of the old SNA-based "dumb terminals" and the capability to run their legacy applications on IP networks, without the hassle and expense of supporting full-blown PC clients.
