SPSS Reaffirms Commitment to ShowCase, OS/400 with New Release

When something new doesn't pan out, sometimes it's better to suck it up and return to the proven path. That's basically the lesson SPSS has learned since its acquisition of ShowCase. SPSS is readying a new release of its business intelligence software suite for OS/400 shops, which was previously called STRATEGY and which is now named the ShowCase Suite. Aldon Teams with Lakeview for Managed Availability Offering

Aldon Computer Group and Lakeview Technology announced a new partnership at the COMMON conference in Orlando, Florida, last week. As part of the partnership, Aldon has incorporated Lakeview's MIMIX technology into a new add-on product for its Aldon/CMS change-management system, allowing users to reduce by up to 90 percent the amount of downtime they experience during a standard application upgrade and maintenance cycle.
