Performance Tool Developer Breaks New Ground with PalmView/400

OS/400 performance tool developer Mike Boadway, founder of MB Software & Consulting, is moving beyond the performance tool business. Boadway founded a second company, called ezRAD.com, a few years ago to build a series of applications using a new C-based technology that the company developed. Now ezRad.com is close to delivering its first product, PalmView/400, a simple application that allows users to view DB2/400 data on a Palm Pilot. But PalmView/400 is just the tip of the iceberg. CMS Helps Managers Get a Handle on Shop Floor

CMS Manufacturing Systems has updated a set of software tools that help users of its CMS/400 ERP suite get a handle on production trends and come up with ways to run their shop floor more efficiently. The CMS Production Analysis Tool Kit is composed of four PC-based programs that allow shop-floor managers to view historical performance data, to track material use, to create new, alternative production scenarios, and to measure the performance of those new schedules against the goals they have set. Midrange Consulting Updates Programmer Productivity Tools

Midrange Consulting Enterprises, a Grovetown, Georgia, company that started developing software to make its consulting engagements more efficient, has issued new releases of its two programmer utilities. The company has updated its disk space management utility, CATalog, with new capabilities.
