Quadrant Shrinks OS/400 Report Sizes with New Formatter

Quadrant Software has introduced a new software utility that it claims reduces the size of OS/400 reports by 75 percent or more without losing any information. The new product, called Formatter, works with Formtastic Fusion5, Quadrant's electronic document management system for the iSeries, to eliminate redundant headers and footers and to rearrange other report components to make reports much smaller and easier to read and understand. Magic Addresses Business Processes with New iBOLT Release

Magic Software has given more teeth to its iBOLT suite of enterprise application integration (EAI) tools. In November, Magic issued Version 1.5 of the iBOLT Integration Suite, with enhanced testing capabilities and support for Business Process Execution Language for Web Services, a promising new specification expected to enable transaction processing with Web services. iMessaging Boosts Support for Spanish in Interactive Voice System

iMessaging Systems has improved its Spanish language support in iVoice, an interactive voice response system for OS/400 applications. With iVoice 2.03, due out this week, the company has expanded the number of voice options for dynamic DB2/400 text-to-speech conversion, including a new voice selection named "Javier," which features a male voice speaking the Mexican dialect of Spanish.
