Gartner Updates Server Platform Rankings

Red Hat Launches Open Source Architecture, Enterprise Linux 3

Commercial Linux distributor Red Hat is giving a sneak preview of its upcoming Linux implementations for enterprise servers and workstations. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 is expected to start shipping within the next few weeks, and the company says that it is rejiggering the way it builds Linux server operating systems to make them better fit the way customers are actually using Linux.
