Penguin Computing Dives Into the Blade Server Fray
by Timothy Prickett Morgan

Blade server sales are expected to hit about $1 billion worldwide in 2004, and that means this subset of the server market will begin to attract more players. In some ways, this makes perfect sense, and in others, it is downright crazy. Is an IBM-Apple combo thinkable, much less possible? READ MORE >

Mad Dog 21/21: The Dry Fish Affair
by Hesh Wiener

In Scandinavian countries, such as Minnesota, it's lutfisk season. Lutfisk (or lutefisk) is a special kind of dried fish, often cod, that, when hydrated and cooked, is a potent source of fragrance, holiday cheer--and of opinions.
