Microsoft yesterday detailed a list of current and future customers who are using Dynamics CRM 3.0, which started shipping in December, including Quiznos and H&R Block.
Quiznos, the Denver-based sandwich retailer that has grown quickly over the last few years and now sports 4,700 restaurants in 24 countries, has 550 users on an older version of Microsoft CRM. "We are planning on upgrading to version 3.0 to take advantage of several new features, including the addition of entities along with advanced querying and exporting capabilities," stated Kristie Reid, IT project manager at Quiznos.
H&R Block currently has about 1,500 seats of Microsoft CRM, but that number could quadruple in the near future when the company rolls out a new benefits screening and enrollment application largely based on the Dynamics software. "Microsoft CRM has exceeded all of our expectations," said Marc Ferguson, president of Nets to Ladders, H&R Block's development partner. "The performance improvements in the new release are quite remarkable."
Other companies using CRM 3.0 include: AGFirst Farm Credit Bank (1,500 seats); Chiesi Farmaceutici, an Italian pharmaceutical company (500 seats); and Maccabi Healthcare Services, an Israeli HMO (1,200 seats).
