  • Do The Twin Cities Two Stop With Help/Systems And RJS Software

    May 14, 2012 Dan Burger

Two IBM i software vendors in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area–with the IBM i homestead in Rochester just down the road–have user conferences planned for mid-September. You couldn’t pick a better time, weather-wise, to explore the upper Midwest, so why not pick up some technical knowledge at the same time?

Help/Systems, an automation software vendor, will set up in downtown Minneapolis September 17 to 20. RJS Software, the document management and business process company, will host its event at the company headquarters in Burnsville September 18 through 20.

The agenda for Help/Systems will include topics on IBM i operations, data access, and security. The opening day of the conference is set up for three all-day workshops focused on specific topic areas: automated scheduling and business efficiency, business analysis, and security requirements. Each workshop is product centric and registrations are priced at $345.

General sessions begin the following day led by Help/Systems product specialists as well as IBM i experts such as Alison Butterill, Steve Finnes, Jeff Uehling, and Gottfried Schimunek. The keynote speaker is transformational change facilitator Robert Tipton. Registration for the general conference (separate from the workshops) is $595, but a $100 early registration discount is available through June 30. The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis is the host hotel. Additional details on session speakers and topics can be viewed at Help/Systems Solutions Summit website.

The RJS conference sessions will include programming and integration tips, software best practice recommendations, and product instruction. Training and education will be provided by the RJS technical support and development team. The precise schedule is in progress. The company website will provide more information in the coming weeks.

No registration fees will be charged for the conference; however, attendees will have out of pocket expenses for travel and lodging. RJS Software is located approximately 15 miles south of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
