  • Q Software to Widen Market for Security Tools

    September 28, 2010 Alex Woodie

Q Software, a developer of security products for JD Edwards shops, has partnered with CaoSys to widen the reach of its security tools from JD Edwards to include Oracle E Business Suite, the British vendors announced last week.

Q Software develops and sells a range of tools for bolstering the security of EnterpriseOne, World, and PeopleSoft Enterprise environments. Its SEC-Qure line of products provides build management, segregation of duty (SOD), auditing, and compliance capabilities for more than 250 JD Edwards customers around the world.

As part of the alliance with fellow British vendor CaoSys, Q Software is now offering similar capabilities for Oracle EBS customers as well. The company recently unveiled CS*Form, CS*Accelerate, and CS*Enquire products, which help administrators bolster the security of EBS environments.

CaoSys CTO Craig O’Neill says he’s happy to be working with Q Software. “They have a proven track record as one of the leading players in the delivery of audit and security related solutions for JD Edwards and we are pleased to be joining forces to help them to expand their solution portfolio,” he says.

Q Software unveiled its PeopleSoft Enterprise security and auditing tools earlier this year. The company worked with Smart ERP Solutions, a Pleasanton, California, company that specializes in PeopleSoft Enterprise.

Q Software is based in the U.K. and operates a U.S. office in Massachusetts. The company’s JDE solutions are also available through partners, including SYSTIME Computer Corp. a JDE specialist based in San Francisco.
