IBM Promotes the i–iPhone, That Is

IBM became the latest high-tech company to jump on the iPhone bandwagon last week when it announced new software, called iNotes ultralite, for accessing Lotus Notes and Domino software from the ever-present Apple handheld device. While the iNotes ultralite software has been received well among businesses, IBM continues to ignore its own business-centric computing platform, the IBM i. iNotes, of course, is not a new product for IBM.
