nuBridges Forms Partnership with English Reseller

Published: May 13, 2008

by Alex Woodie

i OS (formerly i5/OS) software developer nuBridges has formed a partnership with ChilliIT, an English consultancy that specializes in i OS-based Power Systems servers (formerly System i), that will see Chilli IT reselling its suite of security and compliance solutions, nuBridges announced last week.

The partnership is centered on nuBridges' Data Secure software, an integrated encryption, key management, and logging package designed to secure data in fields, databases, and applications across multiple operating systems, including i OS, z/OS, Unix, Linux, and Windows.

Data Secure will provide Chilli IT's customers with the encryption capabilities they need to comply with PCI requirements, says Haydn Perry, Chilli IT's sales director. "Data encryption is rapidly becoming imperative for many of our retail, telecommunications, and manufacturing customers," he says.

Chilli IT is a charter member of nuBridges' new Ally partner program, which the vendor launched last month to build its reseller channel. Other companies participating in the program's launch are Osvaldo Laurido Associates of Puerto Rico, Indicium, and ComForte of Mexico, and TIE Commerce of Boston, Massachusetts.
