  • Databalance Delivers HA Services for MaxAva Customers in The Netherlands

    April 13, 2010 Alex Woodie

i/OS high availability software provider MaxAva this week will announce a partnership with Databalance, a System i consultancy based in The Netherlands. Under the partnership, Databalance provides *noMAX users with software implementation services, and even hosts HA replication services and backup System i servers for customers in its data center.

While MaxAva and Databalance are announcing their partnership this week, the two companies have been working together for quite some time. In fact, Databalance has worked on more than a dozen *noMAX installations for customers in the transportation, manufacturing, retail, and insurance industries, MaxAva says. These installations have involved SAP, Fidelity National Information Services, Eniac, and home-grown IBM i/OS applications.

Databalance has more than 10 years of experience providing IT consulting services for customers that use the i/OS server, among other platforms. The company runs a data center in Nieuwkuijk, where it provides full IBM i system and application hosting.

Mart van der Elzen, an IBM i specialist at Databalance, says the company is pleased to represent MaxAva and add *noMAX to its business continuity offerings. “We are honored to be providing our services to customers and realize the importance of disaster preparation for these critical IBM i applications,” van der Elzen states in an announcement.
