  • JD Edwards World Training Brought Back by JDEtips

    August 9, 2011 Alex Woodie

JDEtips recently announced that it has reinstated its JD Edwards World training regimen, with the first live, instructor-led classes set for this fall in Texas.

About five years ago, JDEtips moved away from training on JD Edwards World in favor of providing learning services for World’s better-known, cross-platform sibling, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The decision to bring back JD Edwards World training shows that Oracle‘s old (but solid) RPG application still has legs.

“I grew up with World software in the late ’80s and early ’90s, and I’ve never forgotten the way it gets the job done for so many loyal JD Edwards clients,” JDEtips founder Andy Klee says in a press release. “I am personally very committed to seeing that we do a great job with these classes.”

JDEtips’ first two JD Edwards World classes will focus on the Fixed Assets and Advanced Pricing modules of the ERP suite. The Fixed Assets class will take place September 12-14. The Advanced Pricing class will take place October 31-November 4. Both classes will be taught in Plano, Texas. Klee says additional World classes will be added beginning in 2012.

JDEtips also offers several classes on EnterpriseOne that can be attended at the Dallas, Texas, training facility or attended virtually. JDEtips classes cost $575 per day for classroom and virtual students. For more information, see www.jdetips.com.
