  • RentalMan Gets Hooks into IntelliChief

    August 24, 2010 Alex Woodie

IntelliChief (the company) this month announced that that Wynne Systems has integrated the IntelliChief product into the IBM i-based RentalMan ERP suite. This integration will make it easier for RentalMan users to accomplish document related tasks, such as retrieving contracts or checks.

Thanks to the integration work performed by the two companies, RentalMan customers now have the opportunity to use IntelliChief as their primary content management system, with a minimum of modification to existing systems.

Among the possible uses of IntelliChief are document imaging for capturing paper-based documents, and workflow enablement, for streamlining the interaction of people and processes. This will enable “paper-less” processing, and could lead to a reduction in paper and filing cabinets at RentalMan shops, the vendors say.

Gary Langton, CEO and co-founder of IntelliChief (as well as CEO of IntelliChief’s parent company, Quadrant Software) says the integration will put more hands in the power of RentalMan users.

“When you give the user the ability to retrieve a check, a contract, an inspection agreement directly from his or her RentalMan screen, you are making them more productive,” he states in a press release. “It means they can focus on doing their jobs instead of chasing down paper.”

Wynne Systems previously had a partnership agreement with Quadrant Software for its popular FastFax software and PC-based faxing hardware. The expansion of the partnership to include the expansive IntelliChief means that Wynne Systems replaced its former document management partner.
