  • VAI Targets Central America with Partnership

    December 2, 2008 Alex Woodie

VAI‘s i OS-based ERP solutions will soon be marketed in Central America thanks to a newly formed partnership with Rjav Consulting, the Long Island, New York, software company announced last week.

Executives with VAI have been hinting for months that the company would soon be trying to win customers in Latin America, which they view as a potentially lucrative market for S2K Enterprise, the suite of software applications aimed at automating many back office processes. To that end, the company introduced support for Spanish with S2K 5.0, which VAI launched in September.

The partnership with a Panamanian company is the first step in the plan to expand VAI’s horizons beyond North America, says Dan Bivona, sales director for VAI. “This relationship with Rjav Consulting is VAI’s first partnership in Central America and is intended to increase VAI’s brand identity among distribution and manufacturing companies in the region,” he says.

Rjav Consulting caters to manufacturers and distributors in Central America. The company strives to help companies optimize their IT strategies to help them grow following mergers and acquisitions, according to VAI.

“We understand that technology plays an enormous role in helping businesses achieve success and have identified VAI’s S2K Enterprise software suite as a best-in-class solution,” says Rodolfo Aria, Rjav’s CEO.
