  • Dutch Consultant Taps Magic’s iBolt for JDE Integration Projects

    February 2, 2010 Alex Woodie

Development and integration tool maker Magic Software has inked a deal with the Dutch consultancy Forza Consulting that will see Forza using iBolt at JD Edwards customer sites in Europe, the vendors announced recently.

Based in Soest, The Netherlands, Forza Consulting specializes in providing services around Oracle‘s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP application. The company serves the distribution, manufacturing, and financial services industries, and has offices and customers throughout the Benelux region.

As part of the deal with Magic, Forza will utilize iBolt to facilitate integrations between its customers’ JD Edwards systems and third-party applications. iBolt offers more than 50 adapters, wizards, services, and methods, allowing it to interact with a wide range of systems, including native support for the AS/400.

“This code-free integration platform will enable us to improve the speed of JD Edwards integration,” says Richard van de Bospoort, managing director of Forza, “and is intuitive and business-focused enough to allow us to adapt every integration scenario easily to the growing and future needs of our customers.”

In other news, Magic Software, which is publicly traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange, will announce its fourth quarter and year end financial results next Friday, February 12.
