  • Pacific Timesheet Offers Crew Timesheet Options via SaaS

    April 5, 2011 Alex Woodie

Pacific Timesheet, a provider of software as a service (SaaS)-based timesheet and attendance solutions, recently announced the availability of a Web-based crew timesheet feature designed to be used by workers in construction and field services.

Pacific Timesheet is a Las Vegas-based company that develops a range of timesheet related software products, including time and attendance, time-off, and project time tracking. The company claims about 1,000 customers across several industries, and integration with the payroll, accounting, and human resources modules of many popular ERP systems, including IBM i-specific packages like JD Edwards, Infinium, MAPICS, VistaCare, Series 2000, and Med Series 4.

In mid-March, Pacific Timesheet unveiled new configuration capabilities in its SaaS-based timesheet offering that are intended to help manage crews that work in remote job sites or provide other field services. The SaaS option enables workers to check in and check out using any Web-capable device.

The new configuration options give customers the capability to use multiple timesheet formats and to modify their timesheet over time, while not requiring retraining in the use of the timesheet system, the company says.

The new features will be useful to construction firms and other customers that track work data in different ways, says Jim Dickerson, vice president of operations for Pacific Timesheet. “These enhanced configuration tools allow customers to have an unlimited number of crew timesheet and time tracking templates from which to choose when track particular jobs in for multiple jobs in many locations,” he says.
