  • Rimini Gets ISO:9001 Certification

    September 13, 2011 Alex Woodie

JD Edwards shops that are considering ditching Oracle for a third-party maintenance provider may be interested to know that Rimini Street has become the only third-party maintenance provider to receive ISO:9001 certification.

ISO:9001:2008 certification ensures that a company has taken certain steps to ensure a level of quality in its products and services and responsiveness to customer needs. Companies must pass an external audit before receiving the certification from the ISO standards body.

Rimini Street says that its ISO:9001 certification covers several aspects of its business, including client onboarding, building of client environments, and the development and delivery of tax and regulatory updates to customers throughout the world. The company was audited by The National Standards Authority of Ireland , which verified that Rimini’s processes in these areas are monitored, reviewed, and improved.

Rimini, which is the largest provider of third-party maintenance and technical support to users of JD Edwards World and EnterpriseOne, E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft Enterprise, and Siebel CRM software, is also the first and only company in its class to receive the certification.

“Becoming the first and only ISO-certified provider of third-party software support services is an important next milestone in our quality commitment to our global clients,” Brian Slepko, Rimini’s senior vice president of global operations says in a press release. Achieving ISO certification further differentiates Rimini Street as the leading global provider of third-party enterprise software support services.”
