• SafeData Now Protects AIX Data, Too

  Companies that rely on SafeData to keep their System i and Windows backups safe can now use its online storage and disaster recovery offering for their AIX backups, too. The announcement leaves Linux as the only Power Systems operating system not supported by the SafeData/DR offering. Earlier this month, SafeData announced support for IBM‘s AIX operating system with its SafeData/DR online vaulting offering, which is powered by Seagate ‘s i365 (formerly EVault) agent-based data replication technology.
