  • IBS Bolsters Leadership Team With Four New Hires

    August 5, 2013 Alex Woodie

International Business Systems, the ERP software company that was acquired for $35 million two years ago by Symphony Technology Group, gave its comeback some teeth last week when it announced it has filled four executive positions with extensive experience in the enterprise software business.

The hiring binge includes Mohit Paul as vice president of EMA sales, Laura Fese as general counsel, Tim Conroy as general manager of the Americas, and Susie Andrews as vice president of global human resources.

Paul, who joined IBS in June, will lead IBS’ sales efforts in Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Previously, Paul held high-level sales positions at Infor, JDA Software, SAP, and Aldata.

Fese served as executive vice president and chief legal officer and corporate secretary at RedPrairie, which merged with JDA last year. Many of IBS’ senior team comes from RedPrairie, including CEO Doug Braun, CTO Mike Verdeyen, and Scott Brown, the company’s EVP of global cloud and customer support services. Fese joined IBS in May.

Prior to joining IBS in May, Conroy previously served as CEO of Intrepa, a developer of supply chain software that was acquired by Manhattan Associates in 1999. He also held executive jobs with RedPrairie, CIBER, and FiveCubits, a developer of supply chain software.

Susie Andrews was the EMEA HR director at SafeNet prior to joining IBS in May. Before that, she worked in HR for various companies, including Microsoft, Seagram Distillers/Universal Studios Theme Parks, and Commercial Union (now Aviva).

IBS CEO Braun issued the following comment: “Our executive team is significantly bolstered by the depth of experience and supply chain and distribution management knowledge these individuals bring to our organization. Their insight and leadership abilities will help our customers achieve new levels of profitability, competitiveness and customer satisfaction.”
