  • Outsourced ERP Lightens Load for Tech Company

    August 7, 2007 Dan Burger

OneNeck IT Services, a leading ERP outsourcing services provider to the mid-size businesses in the manufacturing and distribution fields, has been hired to take over the ERP administration, System i administration, network management, Exchange administration, and hosting responsibilities for the chemical and materials technology company, Lewcott. Officials at Lewcott say the decision was based on investing the company’s technical resources in activities directly related to its product portfolio.

“Choosing a cost-effective, flexible solution from OneNeck allows us to focus on strategic IT initiatives and business processes, while OneNeck maintains and supports our systems for long-term performance,” said Lewcott’s vice president and chief information officer, Debra Beard. “By engaging OneNeck to manage our AS/400 and CMS ERP application, we can focus our IT organization on our customer-facing initiatives.”

Lewcott will also take advantage of OneNeck’s data center facilities and 24/7 user support center that will effectively and efficiently track problems and resolve issues.

OneNeck supports various ERP applications, including Oracle Applications, JD Edwards OneWorld, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Infor Baan, and BPCS, and offers services including application, database, and network management, data center management, 24/7 customer support, disaster recovery, and desktop support. The company was ranked the number one ERP management outsourcer by the “Black Book of Outsourcing.”
