  • looksoftware’s iBelieve Event Tours Europe

October 14, 2013 Timothy Prickett Morgan

Application modernization software maker looksoftware is taking its iBelieve show on the road, and this time it is doing a five-city tour of Europe to promote the IBM i platform and the applications that run on it. The company has held numerous iBelieve events in the United States and Australia and wants to keep the momentum going by pushing into Europe.

Frank Soltis, the former chief scientist for the AS/400, iSeries, and System i platforms, will be on hand at the iBelieve events to talk about the Power Systems-IBM i platform and its future. Industry gadfly and good guy Trevor Perry, a certified IBM i Champion, will also be on hand to admonish Europeans to watch their (i) language and to change the thinking of the IT and businesses executives around them regarding the modernity of the IBM i platform. And Paul Hodgkinson, channel manager for looksoftware’s EMEA region, will discuss the future of IBM i application development in a social and mobile era.

The iBelieve European tour comes to Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on November 14, and then goes to Szczyrk, Poland, on November 18. Two days later, you can catch the event in Stockholm, Sweden, and on November 21 it comes to Vienna, Austria. The European tour wraps up in Birmingham, England, on November 26.

As has been the case at all iBelieve events, there is no fee to attend but space is limited so you have to sign up to reserve your seat. You can do so at this link.
